Despite the slightly gloomy weather, we had a great turn-out today for the return of Recycle Swap Shop after a 3-year absence! Over 150 people attended, taking away over 200kg of stuff, saving it from languishing in lofts and cellars or heading to landfill. Leftovers were taken to charity shops, recycling and a small amount as general waste. The next event is currently planned for Sat 17 June at St Mary’s Centre again, but watch this space for news of a return at the Tilling Green Centre too…
